Critical Thinking Questions

  1. The more energy a roller coaster has at the beginning of the ride, the more successful the ride. That means it needs to begin with a lot of potential energy.
  2. What factor do you think affects the amount of potential energy the roller coaster will have?  *It all depends if your first hill is letting the ride build up the max. potential energy
  3. What do you think is the safest way to "come down" from the first hill?  *A long but good shaped curve

  4. How do you think the roller coaster should exit from the first hill?  *In a slow low curve hill

  5. What do you think the height of the second hill should be? *Any height but not bigger than the first hill

  6. What shape do you think the loop should be? (Parabola, elliptical, square...etc) *Elliptical or a Circle because there the safest one to go around

Last Link

The last link was showing me the potential and kinetic energy levels. It showed me from the highest, middle, and lowest point. When you first going up the Roller Coaster the max of the potential energy is being stored and when you first come down its kinetic energy is at its max as well. When your heading to the ending of the Roller Coaster the potential and kinetic energy has became to its lowest point that it can go.

Roller Coaster-Level Four

Level Four was very interesting as I was doing it. This level took me 30 minutes to do and you really had to think  about this one. My Roller Coaster was passing but it didn't reach the number that you needed to finish the session. I failed it only five times and passed it without the score I need was about ten times. When I finally thought I passsed the passenger throw-up at the last minute so I had to do it all over again.

Roller Coaster-Level Three

Level Three was a little diffcult to me. It took me about 20 to 25 minutes to do the level. The funny thing about this level was when I  finally got done and passed the level I forgot not to press "OK" to go to the next level. So, it took me another 20 to 25 minutes to do level three over but I enjoyed it while it lasted. This time he didn't throw up as much as I thought he would.

Roller Coaster-Level One

Level One was very easy to me when doing it. All you had to do was mess with the Roller Coaster just a little. This first level took me at least ten minutes. Somethings didn't work but as I kept doing it I started  to get the hang of it. I made double the points so I was happy about that.

Roller Coaster-Level Two

Level Two was kind of easy too. This level took me about 15 minutes to do. It really didn't have me stressed out thinking. It was actually funny because the passenger was throwing up as he was riding the Roll Coaster. He was cheating me because I felt he could've made it over sme of the humps.

Engineering Careers

My three careers I choose were Agent/Manager Of Artists, Performers, or Athletes ; Athletic Trainer and Automobile Mechanic. Agent/Manager Of Artists, Performers, or Athletes is where an agent manages someone. They use their creativeness to come up with ideas to persuade this person to let he/she manager them. Not a lot of things are required for this job but you must be no dummy to try and do this job as listed. This career gets paid $74,880 a year. Also, you must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher and plus work experience.

Athletic Trainer is just basically someone who trains an athlete. First and for most you have to be in shape yourself before training others. This job requires a Bachelor's Degree as well. Salary is at $39,280 a year. It really depends who your client is because the more famous he/she is the more money you will recieve and the less famous the less money you will recieve. For career cluster you have to have Healthcare Science because your talking care of the body. Your helping them recover and prevent injuries.

Automobile Mechanic is a person that takes care of and fix automobiles. It requires one to two years post-secondary training. Your salary sits at about $34,690 a year. When dealing with cars you have to be very careful not to mess up anything that isn't messed up already. A lot of consentration is required if first time doing the job but theirs plenty of noise around you so you have to get use to that or adjust to that very quickly. The career cluster for this job is Architecture, Construction, Communications and Transportation. Also, as a technician you have to treat your customers really nice if you expect them to come back.

True Color Assessment

When I finished the "True Color Assessment" my color was green. "Green" is just basicallly a creative problem solver who brings my ability to think outside the box to the workplace. I agree with the assessment because I was always taught to plan things out before doing them. Being creative is just something that was just taught by me and not by others. Common-sense is just something I use when it comes down to doing somethings so I guess creative is the new word for common-sense.

Good & Bad Designs

My Own Blog

My blog is about Tri-Cities Football Team. As of this year they feel as if this is there year to really showout. If you looked at the previous years they were terrible but for the past two years coach Kenneth Miller turned the program around. 2008-2009 they went 4 and 6, 2009-2010 they went 5 and 5 but this year they are starting of the season 1 and 0. They have stated, "THIS IS THE NEW TC" before the season started. Well thats it for now until next time. . . . .

Blog That Im Following

Im following a blog that is called, "Sports Blogs". Its just talking about different sports and different parts of the game they liked. Some of the blogs that they were talking about were Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer and Tennis. Also some of the blogs were just cracking jokes on that certain game. After all the blog is just basically something to do and waste time really when your bored.
